Real wedding: Sarah + Nick

The dress and shoes make this wedding for me…love the sparkle with tiny detailed petals fluttering all over the dress!

Vendors:
Venue: W Union Square
Catering: Todd English’s Olives
The W was the second place I looked at with my mother and our search ended there. The staff would have sold us if the space weren’t beautiful enough. Between the excellent onsite coordinator and quality of the food service, we felt like we were in great hands! And Nick and I are foodies, so guest expectations were pretty high.
Cake: LuLu Bakery
Cake Topper: www.fancyflours.com
I have been told this was the most delicious cake some people ever ate. I was not surprised.
Photography: Tory Williams
Before anyone even saw our photos, we got rave reviews about our photographer. She was always in the thick of things, but never in anyone’s way. She’s a photo ninja.
Florist: Denise Fasanello
Denise is a joy to work with. I wanted the wedding to be full or rich jewel tones and didn’t want to have to stick with a boring palette of two or three colors. Then I asked for food in my flowers. None of this threw her for a loop. She put together rich, lush arrangements dotted with rosemary, artichokes, pomegranates, sprays of olive branch, and berries.
Chuppah: my mom
Denise was wonderful in working with my mom on the chuppah. She kept the structure very simple and modern so that it didn’t complete with the beautiful tree of life design my mom created.
Ketubah: Rachel Deitsch
We decided to echo the tree of life theme in our interfaith egalitarian ketubah. Rachel is an amazing artist and so easy to work with on customization.
Invitations: Umi from Village Invites
I adore letterpress stationery, but found that invitations suites in letterpress were way out of budget. So I was thrilled when the incredible Linda at Village Invites told me that Elum Letterpress also makes a line of flatprinted cards!
Conversation starter guest books: Kate’s Paperie + DIY (inspiration from Martha Stewart!)
