How many of you have bags of tea lights sitting at home waiting to be used up? Everyone, right? They’re such a go-to item, yet we usually just leave them plain. This is the easiest DIY. Just add glitter!
You will need: tea lights, glitter paper (here’s my choice), scissors, glue gun
Step 1: Measure the height of the tea light
Step 2: Cut a strip of paper to the height and measure the perimeter of the circle and cut.
Step 3: Curl the paper so it easily bends around the light. This was needed for me because my glitter paper was more of a cardboard and awkward to put around a circle.
Step 4: Add hot glue around the perimeter of the tea light.
Step 5: Attach the paper to light.
Voila! That’s it! So simple and cute! Make a whole bunch and add them to your Valentine’s table for an extra dramatic punch.
