The Crane Chandelier Project in Brooklyn

Tonite, The Brooklyn Pop-up Wedding Chapel has its first public special event! From 6pm-8pm, The Wedding Co. all the way from Toronto will be there with their Crane Chandelier on display and everyone can come in to learn how to make an origami Crane from the expert ladies themselves, Catherine & Stephanie! They came all the way from Canada for this so it’s not to be missed!

The Wedding Co. is building a chandelier from origami cranes signed by brides and grooms from around the globe. It’s their goal to collect 10,000 of these peaceful tokens of love: For each one they receive, they’ll donate 50¢ to cancer research. How cool is that?? As an engaged bride or groom, this is your opportunity to contribute to a community and an art installation piece. Not engaged? Then participate by coming by and folding a crane or just by spreading the word!

I’m hoping to pop up so I can learn how to finally make a paper crane!  Here’s what else is happening this weekend:
