Hey guys….I’m heading out early this week to go to Montreal for a wedding of a dear family friend, so in lieu of a post, I figured I’d draw your attention to my sponsor this month, Once Wed. Not only is it a great site to buy and sell used wedding gowns, but Emily has created an amazing blog that features wonderful wedding eye candy! I check out her blog every day and am constantly amazed at what she finds….definitely check Once Wed out!
Have a great weekend!!

According to the latest issue of New York Magazine, New York’s marriage bureau is getting a $15 million new look in a new building thanks to designer Jamie Drake…the magazine had 4 other designers come up with their idea of the ultimate wedding chapel…these 2 are my favorites.

Thanks to Darcy Miller over at The Bride’s Guide for the post on my wedding…click over for my KEY piece of advice to brides! Oh yea, and you can see more pics from the wedding, in case you weren’t sick of them already!

Before the wedding, Jane of the Australian magazine, Wedding Style Guide, emailed me about, what else, wedding stuff, and we got to talking about the presence of international wedding magazines over here. I’ve happened to see issues of Wedding Style Guide at local bodega’s and the occasional Barnes and Noble, but for those of you who don’t know the magazine, its incredibly insightful, with great images in a compact size. They’ve got lot of goodies on their website AND their new blog too. Jane was nice enough to send me a bunch of their latest issues [all the way from Australia!] to give away to you guys, so you know the drill….leave a comment below and 5 will be picked at random to receive the 2 issues. Contest ends Friday so get those comments in!

I’ve been checking out all my regular blogs and seeing how many creative people are coming out with great books soon….I just can’t wait to get my hands on these! They’d make great gifts too.
