Just noticed I was a Flashlight Find over at Perfect Bound – one of my daily reads! Thanks Anne!!
I dont know if I’m the only one that feels this way, but as a relatively new blogger, it can get really discouraging when you feel like no one is reading your work. But when you see yourself being recognized by your peers, its a really gratifying feeling and you get a great sense of community. So thanks to EVERYONE who reads my little piece of the blogosphere. Really.
Just wanted to share some happy news….my boss and I were pleasantly surprised to see that not only we made the ideahouse resource guide cover, but we also made the HC&G cover the same week! Overall I had a fabulous weekend picking raspberries, hanging out at the Ideahouse opening party, and seeing my lovely friends.

Sorry for the quick posting today…my boss and I are heading out to the Hamptons to finish up our room for the Hamptons Ideahouse. See you back here on Monday with some images from the event!
These little beauties are made with vintage glass beads, and come in a beautiful range of colors. I’ve been dying for a pair of those earrings at top! Decent prices make them great bridal party gifts….

What a genius idea for giving gifts to your bridal party without having a to wrap a thing! Maptotes come in a bunch of cities and they will even do custom if you can’t find yours. I wonder if you’d be able to customize the map with points of interest (church, rehearsal dinner locale, etc) during your wedding? Then you’d be able to use them as your out of towner bags!
UPDATE: I emailed Rachel at Maptotes about custom options, and they CAN customize bags with names, wedding related landmarks, etc. Pricing obviously goes up from the standard $12 a bag, but gets exponentially cheaper the more you order. Email me if you want to see a pricelist.
