How gorgeous is this cake from Vanilla Bakeshop?? Such a modern version of the cascading butterflies. And speaking of cake, check out my post over at the Bridal Buzz blog, and DEFINITELY check out their Cake Maker where you can design your own cake!

nunu chocolates is a Brooklyn vendor I’ve only recently discovered, but I’m lucky enough to have them right down the street for quick chocolate fix! The salted caramels are my favorite, but there are lots of other options, and are perfection for wedding favors or OOT gifts.

I met up with the makers of Whimsy & Spice at a holiday fair at Christmas, and have no idea how I forgot to write about them! [thank goodness for Etsy!] Whimsy & Spice is a delicious company out of Brooklyn that makes sweets all with a dash of spice…chocolate gingersnaps, cardamom marshmallows….they’re all dee-lish, and you can work with them to create favors for your guests, or pop a few cookies into OOT bags. Your guests will love you.

This year was my third round of the NY Magazine Wedding Event, and it could possibly be the best one yet! More vendors, BETTER vendors, but space to walk around…all add up to a successful event. Here are some of my favorites from last night….
Yummy truffles from Taste Caterers….I loved the way they presented them.
Lots of gorgeous gowns as you walked in…
Mel Barlow talking to a bride on the left, Crave Catering display on the right. Veggies never looked so good!
Yummy mini milkshakes from Mary Giuliani Catering….
Karen Cunningham‘s completely coordinated table! That church shot is one of my favorites.
Happiness abounds at Jenny Ebert‘s table, designed by Barb at Hatch Creative. Those flowers were crazy cool.
Beautiful arrangement from the geniuses over at Takashimaya…so good to reconnect with my old middle school buddy Peter who is now their Creative Director!
