Next up, Amsale. How she pulls together 3 completely separate collections is beyond me!
The ruffled applique flowers on this dress were one of my favs of the day…perfectly modern but still girly.
Roses seem to be a big theme this year.
It seems like every year Bridal Market just gets better and better…this weekend I went to see 6 shows, all fabulous, so I’m going to share with you some of my least blurry photos of the dresses. First up is Christos.
I think this dress, Poeme, was my favorite from the collection…it was a subtle shade of grey, and the cascading flowers were a departure from what I usually go for.
Brittni over at Paper+Stitch sent me the lovely work of A Alicia, and I’m so happy she did! These handmade corsages would make great gifts, or as Brittni suggested, used to decorate your bouquet! I just love cascading flowers, don’t you?
The survey is staying up an extra day, so winner will be announced tomorrow!

New York/New Jersey/Connecticut/Philadelphia bridesmaids needed for Brides New York feature
Brides New York and Brides Local Magazines are looking for New York/New Jersey/Connecticut/Philadelphia area women who have recently been bridesmaids to participate in a fashion feature for our upcoming issue. In a nutshell, the story is about which bridesmaid dresses really do have “wear again” potential and how to accessorize them to make them work for other occasions. We’ll be photographing former bridesmaids in their dresses, which we’ll accessorize/alter to create a new look. If you’re interested in participating, please email a photo of yourself in your bridesmaid dress and your measurements (dress size, shoe size) to Leigh Crandall at email@example.com by Monday, August 31st. The photo shoot is scheduled to take place towards the end of September at our studio in NYC, and hair and makeup will be provided.
