One Elf

I love this little treestump charm from Etsy seller OneElf. You can personalize it with 2 initials, one for you and one for your hunny. I got one for myself because, well, I just couldn’t help myself! Definitely check out some of the other charms she makes…they could make adorable gifts for your flower girls or bridesmaids.

Save the date: Cara + Jeff

Cara sent me her VERY cool save the dates over the weekend to share with you guys!  Here’s what she had to say.

I was really inspired by a bunch of the real save-the-dates that you posted a few months ago.  I hadn’t really thought much about mine before that but I realized that we could do something really fun with it and put a bit of our personalities into it, so I wanted to share what we came up with.

The inspiration for our card came from a McKinley-Roosevelt campaign poster from 1899 that we got from the Wisconsin Historical Society and the design work was done by my friend and talented Brooklyn-based graphic designer, Kelli Anderson (www.kellianderson.com).

Joy’s invitations

Joy did such a great job with her invites, I’m so glad she sent them!  Letterpressed them all herself too!

I thought these were right up your alley…

Boyfriend and i are getting married in DUMBO at Smack Mellon.. on earth day! April 22…
i can’t decide if i was more excited to get married or do wedding crafts! we had so much fun making our own announcements and save the dates that i wanted to do the invites as well..
i’ve pretty much always been obsessed with letterpress so i took a workshop at The Arm (thearmnyc.com) in Brooklyn.. then bf and i came up with the idea for our invite.. i figured out illustrator, had a plate made and went back into the studio to press all of them! im in love.. i could do it all day! ha!

New biz cards

Ever since starting Brooklyn Bride, I’ve used Moo cards as my business cards, and have totally loved them!  But when the opportunity to work with Tara at INK + WIT came up, I knew I had to take action…I just adore how they turned out!  I especially like that they don’t match the site exactly, but you can still see how they relate.  [letterpressed by Spark Stationery]  Thanks Tara!
