Early on, I got really excited about buying everything bridal, and now I’m stuck with a lot of extras. All in excellent condition and worthy of my stamp of approval!! I have a full coverage birdcage veil, still in the box, that I purchased off Etsy, but sadly, will not be using, and then bought way too many of these Knock Knock bridal thank you cards for my bridal shower [I don’t think these are available anymore]. If anyone in the NYC area is interested in either of these items, lemme know. I’ve got 3 packs of 12 cards each for $20 total, and the veil for $20….pick up only. Serious inquiries only.
UPDATE: Veil is sold….cards are still available.

Wishpot is a great way to let people know what you’re dying to get…without the hassle of a traditional registry. You don’t have to worry about selecting items from certain stores since you can “register” for anything from ANY store online! They’ve got a fun list of bridal experts ranging from Ecochic Weddings to Weddingbee to….well, me! You can check out what all of us are coveting….mine’s a little bare to start, but I plan on adding to it once the wedding activity dies down a bit.

I had my hair trial recently, and while the pictures came out horribly [bad lighting in the salon], these were the inspiration. I fell in love with Michelle Williams’s side swept bun in the infamous Vera Wang dress and knew right away thats how I wanted mine to be. With the french veil I’ll be wearing, I think it will look pretty fresh.

Last week was a big week of appointments for me….first off was makeup. I’m having my makeup done by my friend Claribel who works at Fresh….I’ve always loved Fresh products because they are all natural and Claribel consistently does a great job with my makeup. I had a few clippings of makeup I’ve loved, and when I saw Keri Russell on the red carpet at the Oscars, I knew that was it for me. I think the results pretty close, don’t you? hehe.
