I thought these porcelain “diamond” rings were adorable alternatives to engagement rings…and much more cost effective!

Linda Lee Johnson

Chad and I have managed to finally get some wedding things done recently, including finding the wedding band of my dreams! Its by jewelry designer Linda Lee Johnson, who is exclusively sold at Barneys New York, as far as I can tell. I wish I could show you a picture, but any photos I’ve taken don’t do it justice, and there isn’t one online, so I thought I’d share some of her other work.

Me and Ro

Me & Ro truly has exquisite pieces of jewelry…modern and ethereal at the same time. The earrings and necklaces would make great bridesmaids gifts and the engagements rings would make great…well…engagement rings! Completely drool worthy, no guy could go wrong proposing with one of these puppies.

Auto event – Get Committed

Auto, one of my favorite stores for jewelry, home accessories, and the such, is launching a collection of engagement, wedding, and commitment rings. As part of New York’s Design Week, its a great excuse to drag your hunny over for some not-so-subtle hints.

Sunday May 20 6-8pm.

“Please join us for the launch party of auto’s engagement, wedding and commitment ring services. We invited our stable of jewelry designers to think outside the “blue box” and come up with their own interpretation of wedding and engagement rings. Finally, a good excuse to get committed.”

Caroline Ellen

Absolutely beautiful! If i had my chance to do it again, I would wish for the Lentil ring by Caroline Ellen….its the big one up top with the mini diamonds all over it. A wedding band fits PERFECTLY underneath. Its very “take THAT tradition!” You can find it at Fragments in Soho, and apparently Caroline will do it in other metals. Definitely check her out.
