Andrea and Matt’s wedding was as sophisticated as they come, with a sleek palette of black and gold and keeping everything clean and minimal.
From the bride:
It is often said that one’s wedding day is the best day of their life; our wedding was no exception. The design, planning, and preparation of our big day culminated in the perfect apogee of our love for one another. The ceremony was held in a local Catholic Church- which was very important to us. The gothic style exterior, cathedral ceilings and stained glass windows added a timeless feeling to our big day. The architectural feel carried over to our photo stop at Syracuse University. We feel the stone columns, ivy wall, and brick buildings clearly defined our style. Our receptions venue, Sky Armory, helped make our vision of a contemporary, downtown loft style reception a reality. From creating the custom, chef-inspired menu to designing the cigar bar, it was truly the creativity and inspiration of the staff at the venue that helped us achieve our vision. One of the most important parts of the day for us was the ability to be surrounded by our closest friends and family. Sharing such a indescribable day with our loved ones truly made our wedding day unforgettable.

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, so now’s the time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day cards. Minted has got a great selection that you can personalize, from mailable cards to the cute kind you get in the classroom (which to be honest, I wouldn’t mind getting either!). They’ve even got Valentine’s art gifts, extras like stickers and washi tape, and party decor, all with the theme of love. I think some of their designs could actually double as really cute Save the Dates…wouldn’t it be nice to tie those in with the ultimate day of love? I thought so too!

Just before the holidays, I was happy to be asked to host a Minted Craft Night here in NYC, where bloggers, crafters and Mintie designers alike could get together and play with Minted‘s new fabric line! It was a lovely night spent at Little Owl, full of crafting inspiration boards using the fabric line, then decorating them with holiday cards and ephemera. It was amazing to see how creative all these ladies (and gent!) were with designing their boards!
The fabric line itself is great, with over 200 designs in multiple color and fabric weights, perfect for using in home decor, crafting, for weddings and baby showers, even furoshiki style gift wrapping! I can’t wait to use more of them in projects this year!

Its no secret that I love getting my holiday cards through Minted every year. And every year they make it harder to choose because of all the new designs they launch, in addition to their foil options (did you know they have rose gold foil??), variety of paper thicknesses, shapes, address printing….I could seriously go on and on. They’ve also introduced recipient addressing with envelope designs that coordinate with your cards! They really just take the hassle out of addressing and sending holiday cards so they can go back to being fun!
If you haven’t gotten your cards yet, get ready, because today we’re giving away $250 worth of Minted product to TWO lucky readers, to spend on holiday cards, art prints, pretty much whatever you’d like on their site. Leave a comment below with your favorite card design from their site and we’ll announce 2 winners next Monday, December 1. Good luck!
