I have some friends who are getting married soon so I decided to personalize wrapping as a part of their gift. I’ve done this technique before (with Valentine’s Day wrapping) but thought it would be fun to try a bridal version with a bride and groom. It’s super easy to do whether you’re artistic or not.
What you need: craft knife, pen, pencil, wrapping paper, black and white paper, tape
Step 1: Wrap the gift. You will need to find where to place the paper dolls.
Step 2: With a pencil, make a shape of a bride in the position you’d like it to be on the gift wrap.
Step 3: Do the same with the groom.
Step 4: Take the gift wrap off the gift.
Step 5: With your craft knife, cut out one half of the paper dolls on a mat board.
Step 6: Fold over the other half to form the 3D shape.
Step 7: Place paper behind the dolls and secure with tape. I used black for the groom and white for the bride.
Step 8: Draw in some details like a necklace and shoes for the bride. Add in a white bow tie for the groom.
Super easy, right? Enjoy!
