From the bride:
The most important thing to us was that our wedding day to be true to our personal style, intimate for our guests, and fun as hell. We chose Brooklyn Winery because of the beautifully urban/rustic feel, the warmth of the small intimate rooms, and the incredible food – served family style to make our guests feel at home.

We wanted the ceremony to set the tone for the rest of the wedding, so we had our dear friend Kate perform it, with family members doing select readings. There was laughter, tears, an incredible amount of love… and ribbon wands waving like crazy.

I’m a DIY nerd when it comes to paper, and I wanted every piece of paper at the wedding to be DIY and make a statement – from the invitations to the place cards to the signs around the reception (my favorite was the bathroom sign, “You look oh so pretty… now get out there and dance!”). So I found a graphic print that was to die for and I went to town with it.

The day was everything we hoped it would be – romantic, full of personal touches, full of our closest family and friends – and most importantly, full of love.
