As I mentioned last week, my dearest friend Christina and her hunny Jack got married up in New Hampshire in a gorgeous, homemade wedding at the Harris Center.  It truly was a labor of love, with friends pitching in with their various talents, and I swear to you, I have never heard more heartfelt vows than the ones these two shared.  Jack’s friend Nadine did the flowers, her boyfriend Scott was the DJ, I played wedding planner and assistant florist, their friend Doug got ordained to marry them, Christina’s sister did the invites, and another friend Andrew mixed some fabulous cocktails (honey lavender lemonade, yum!)  The food was all organic, and there was no wedding cake (egads!), but something WAY better….an ice cream bar with fresh local ice cream, berries and cream.  Jen Huang did an amazing job with the photos and has some more up on her blog, so enjoy!

There really wasn’t a “color palette”…Christina let everyone just choose whatever they wanted…sage, watermelon, purple, orange, yet they all went together beautifully.

Yummy fresh honey as favors.

That gorgeous Nicole Miller dress has quickly become one of my favorites…from Bella Bridesmaid.

The wedding rings were handcarved by a guy Jack knows in Mexico!  Locally grown flowers were used on the tables and bouquets.

The hanging plants looked like fabulously organic chandeliers!  I’d never seen it done before.
