1. I can vouch for, Leo. He’s an awesome dude with a great eye for composition! Great set here as well :)

  2. Love these pictures! I love the pops of color that they have added with their clothing. I especially love the one of the two of them sitting on the steps in front of the white door and the pink flowers on the trees that match her tights! Awesome!

  3. Shell

    I understand that the words “engagement shoot” are really to describe professional photos of a couple. But, I follow her blog, and these two were married before they got the dog…just saying.

  4. I love that dress! The dog is adorableeee!

  5. k

    the pictures are lovely, but like @Shell said above, this couple has been married for 2+ years…

  6. anon

  7. That’s why it’s call an “anniversary shoot”! (Although it doesn’t really matter.)

    I love how dapper the three of them look!

  8. what lovely colours! and that pup is to die for… clearly part of the family ;)

  9. LOVE LOVE LOVE. We have two English Bulldogs who would love to be portrayed in such gorgeous light. Super fun couple, lovely pics and stealable dog.

  11. This was a nice surprise! Thanks for the feature! It’s all thanks to Leo for making us look good! He’s so awesome. And yes, we’re celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary this summer so these were not done as engagements. These photos were taken for fun on our 1 yr mark of living in DC. And yes again to the commenters, kingsley’s an English bulldog.

    Thanks again!

  12. What an adorable couple and of course the German Bulldog.{JK}

  13. What a good idea! Who says you have to be celebrating 20, 25, or 50 years to have an anniversary shoot! Love the bright yellow & pink – did the trick – looks great!

  14. Great shots! Beautiful!!
