I have 75 guests that can back me up on this but I was literally the chillest bride ever. That’s what I remember most about that day, the way I felt, which was calm, joyous & aware. That’s a result, really, of those aforementioned guests & all the rest of the kind & immensely talented humans it took to interpret our love story into one unforgettable day. So, to our family, friends & vendors: a wholehearted thank you. Your presence & support on that day is the foundation of our memories.

I think being a carefree bride is a chose & it starts in the planning process. My husband & I are both in creative fields (he is a software developer, I am a fashion editor/stylist), so creating a certain aesthetic was important to us so we made it a priority to hire people whose eye & work we believed in & could trust to channel our vision & sensibility. Then we just let them bring the elements of their expertise to us. That’s my biggest advice to future brides’s to be: hire well, worry less.
