MY inspiration board

I haven’t really shared too much about our wedding, so today I want to show you my own inspiration board. We’re getting married next April at Stage 6 in Steiner Studios, and while we’re having a fairly formal affair, since I’m an interior designer and Chad’s an architect, we definitely wanted to have some fun and tone down the seriousness a bit. Most of that will come through our color palette of green and white with hints of yellow, and little touches here and there [still TBD for the most part]. We’re definitely not the frou-frou type, so everything we do we try to keep very architectural and clean, right down to the cake.

I’m going to leave you with these images to mull over for the weekend while I enjoy the weather, but if you have any questions about specific images or ideas we’re going with, let me know.

here’s some comment love as i’ve gone so far as to subscribe to your rss feed. i love all the ideas/sources you’ve gathered here, and i am so glad to see another fresh, clean wedding with pops of color despite an otherwise rather traditional/formal event.

Love your inspiration board!!! I now get a chance to design my own. I’m so siked, my boyfriend popped the big question last Tuesday (OMG) I’m engaged!!!

Thanks so much for linking in Toast & Tables. Brooklyn Bride is one of my main resources, so I’ll be tuning in daily.

I came across your blog while researching Steiner Studios, and I love it! I’m a New Yorker living in Paris, and will be checking out Stage 6 for my own wedding while I’m home for Thanksgiving. Could you explain why you chose the place?

    Congrats and best wishes!
