Brooklyn Botanic Garden Winter Wedding

Cindy and Alex woke up to several inches of snow on their wedding day, but these photos by Cassi Claire Photography show a day full of sunshine and warmth, especially after sunset when the entire space filled with warm, glowing light. When the couple was planning their big day, it was important to them that their wedding be a reflection of themselves and their cultures. Red crane place cards were a nod to Cindy’s Chinese heritage and a custom ketubah incorporated a phoenix and dragon, symbolizing the merging of both their cultures. The natural beauty of the Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden made it easy to keep all other decor minimal and really let those details stand out!
