Elegant Midtown Wedding Near Times Square

With the bright lights, holiday markets, and decorated store windows, the holidays are a magical time in New York City and Heather and Lance knew they wanted to share that magic with family and friends for their wedding. Since their venue, Manhattan Manor, is right around the corner from Times Square, they were able to sneak away with their bridal party before the ceremony to take some amazing photos amid the neon hustle and bustle. For their ceremony, Pedestals Floral Decorators draped their chuppah in all white flowers and lots of greenery, a timeless choice that they carried throughout the elegant, candlelit reception. It was a gorgeous celebration planned by Stillwell Events and 5th Avenue Digital was there to capture all the beautiful details of the event!

How did you meet?

We met on JSwipe and our first date was 7 hours long. The rest was history.

What is your proposal story?

Lance proposed on Thanksgiving Eve while we were in Florida. We were surrounded by pretty lit palm trees. It was perfect.

What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

Being in times square together and with our bridal party. We also loved our ceremony especially hearing each other’s vows.

What were your favorite parts of the day?

Seeing each other for the first time in the hotel, stomping on the glass at the end of our ceremony, and nailing our first dance which we spent months practicing.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Try not to get bothered by the little stuff or when things go wrong on the actual wedding day. At that point, there is nothing you can do and it’s up to you to have a good time.
