What is your aesthetic? City Chic

How does your studio style convey your professional aesthetic? It’s colorful, warm and a bit eclectic, which I think is definitely what we try and bring to our clients.

Favorite part of your studio? I love that we took the time to line our shelves with the toile print. It makes me happy on a daily basis.  More practically, I love that we have the space to meet with our clients, show sample vases and still have some of our team able to do some work.

Where do you go for inspiration? Fabric stores and linen shops really do a lot to get my juices flowing. But, a trip to the Met museum is a sure-fire way to come up with some ideas. There is just so much there.

What tool do you use in your business that you can’t live without? If they stopped manufacturing safety pins, we’d be out of business.   That, and a scanner!

Is there anything you’d upgrade to? The only thing we’d change is our location. We’re on a VERY busy street and it is a comedy routine when we are loading up gift bags or getting deliveries.

Anything else we should know? For some bizarre reason, despite having a decent amount of space, Mayra (my business partner) and I keep our desks about 1 foot apart. It’s strange.
