Miami Meets Mid-Century Modern

Situated on one of the most iconic beaches in the world The James Royal Palm in Miami Beach hosted this mid-century inspired shoot. While I specialize mostly in wedding stationery and paper goods, I also love to style and art direct. The goal was to showcase my design aesthetic, and love for mid-century and contemporary designs. I felt it was important to stay true to the dynamic and culture that is unique to Miami. Another major source of inspiration for the shoot was Ray and Charles Eames, husband and wife-duo, furniture designers.

Charles Eames was once said “At all times, love and discipline have led to a beautiful environment and good life.” I believe in this quote whole-heartedly, as this is something I put into practice everyday in the studio.

The majority of the shoot took place in the South Shore Lounge and Florida Cookery Patio.
We were also fortunate enough to have a special dish prepared by the talented team at FCP.
