Does anyone NOT know about Artifact Uprising at this point? They have quickly become my favorite place to have photos printed, from hard and soft cover books, to signature prints, calendars, postcards, and now, holiday cards too! There is so much thought and purpose behind all their products…they’ve sourced beautiful recycled papers and locally sourced fallen beetle-kill pine for their wood products. Its amazing what they’ve accomplished in the short 2 years they’ve been in business, and I can’t wait to see where they take it!
This holiday season, we’ve teamed up for a Pin to Win contest where you can win $250 to spend at Artifact Uprising on whatever you like! I recommend getting one of each of everything they offer, but hey, thats just me!
Head over to the dedicated Pin to Win site to enter! The contest runs through December 2, so you’ve got plenty of time to enter. Good luck!

It’s finally here you guys! In all honesty, I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it this year, but after getting tweets and emails asking when the swap was happening, I knew I had to keep the tradition alive, so time to get those creative juices flowing!
In true card swap tradition, I asked a talented designer to design the logo for this years card swap, so a HUGE thank you to the lovely Erica Loesing of Yes Ma’am! We’ve never done a calligraphed logo before for the swap, so it was a great opportunity to start now!
Here are the rules:
Send an email to me at brooklynbride [at] gmail [dot] com with Holiday Card Swap in the subject line by November 26 [you’ve only got a week and a half to enter!]. Include your name, address, email address, website/blog address and twitter handle [if you have these]. Please send your email in this format…
123 Main St. #25
Anytown NY 12345
– By December 1, I will have emailed you the names and addresses of up to 5 people to send cards to.
– Your cards should be handmade or self-designed [think Gocco, glitter, Photoshop, cut + paste, sewing, etc….] Make something that’s easy to do multiples of. You’ll be sending 1 card to each person on your list, and add in a special holiday greeting!
– Send out your cards by December 15 at the latest.
Then you just wait patiently by your mailbox! The swap is open to our international audience, so pay special attention to postage [letters to any country in the world including Canada are now all the same price]. Please don’t disappoint your partners if you know you won’t be able to send out cards on time, or at all.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
