I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out at Minhee’s studio, and its one of the most fun I’ve ever seen! Adorable products and treasures at every turn!
And be sure to check out the Deals + Events page…lots of good stuff coming up!
Name: Minhee Cho
Location: New York City
Company: Paper+Cup Design
What is your aesthetic?: Simple + Modern designs with a vintage twist
How does your studio style convey your professional aesthetic? We mixed vintage furniture with modern ones
Favorite part of your studio?: Our wall unit, we have a tiny space and it’s perfect to store all our paper work as well as have space for displaying our work.
Where do you go for inspiration?: Visiting flea markets, watching old movies and taking walks around the city with Tru
What tool do you use in your business that you can’t live without?: My computer and my craft tools like the xacto, ruler and cutting mat
Is there anything you’d upgrade to?: We have access to a small roof deck right outside one of our windows, I would love to fix it up so we can hang out or do some of our meetings out there.
Anything else we should know?: I’m a big pack rat and Tru is super organized, neat and tidy. I try to be that way but find it stifles my creativity! So he lives with all the scraps of paper and found objects all over the office that I consider my little treasures.
Since this week is going to be a short one for me (yay Labor Day weekend!), I figured it was as good a time as any to do my annual reader survey…I’d really appreciate you taking the time to fill it out! Its always nice to see whats working and what you guys like!
I’ll be giving away a special package for one lucky survey taker…it will include an autographed copy of Wedding Chic by Colin Cowie, as well as lots of goodies from The B-List conference (its a surprise)! Just be sure to leave your email address at the end of the survey, winner announced Thursday afternoon.
Thanks in advance everyone!

I hope you will all agree that this is pretty darn genius…Andrew wrote this book when he was 6 [yay for mom’s keeping stuff!], and once he and Jami got engaged, they spliced in their meeting story into his childhood book for the ULTIMATE engagement party invite!
These lace and leather bracelets from Spanish designer Sandra Bautista would be a great addition to any wardrobe…consider one with your wedding dress for a dainty edge! Available via Charles & Marie.

I can’t wait to see what this wedding looks like!
From photographer Shannon Nicole Smith: The final product from this shoot turned out so fabulously romantic and vintage, but still very fresh and modern. Katy wore two vintage dresses, a vintage flower hair piece, brought daisies in a jam jar (so cute, I know!), and brought along her teal vintage bicycle for a prop. Katy is painfully adorable and her and Joey made the most fantastic couple to work with. It is by far my most favorite engagement session to date, because the clients were so involved in the planning. The vision and theme of that romantic, soft, vintage look was all Katy, and God love her for it.
